The state needed a way for students to manage their career plans.
One-on-one career counseling takes a lot of staff time and is hard to scale. Job sites, on the other hand, don't give students the structure they need to plan a career over several years.
Students had no consistent place to work on a career plan, build application materials, and track their progress.
The state wanted something in between: a self-service portal with the structure of a counseling session, including a Career Action Plan, a résumé students can keep improving, and a portfolio that stays with them. It would be run by the public sector and free for every student.

We built an account-based platform where students do their own planning and counselors run the program.
